BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Heliokles II, circa 90-75 BC. AE (Bronze, 19x18 mm, 7.56 g, 12 h), uncertain mint in Paropamisadai or Gandhara. ΒAΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΔIKAIOY - HΛIOKΛEO[YΣ] Diademed and draped bust of Zeus Basileus to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa dhramikasa Heliyakreyasa' (in Karoshti) Elephant walking right; to upper right, monogram. Bopearachchi 7D. HGC 12, 38. Light deposits and with some cleaning scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
